CBD COP15 Toolkit

The 15th Conference of Parties of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD COP15) is happening in Montreal from December 7th–19th. The conference represents a key opportunity for world leaders to take a crucial step towards bringing about transformative change for our ocean and planet.

We’re calling on all RISE UP members to show support for securing the 30×30 target – to protect at least 30% of the ocean by 2030 – at CBD COP15 and to also highlight the importance of upholding and enhancing Indigenous Peoples and Local Communities (IPLCs) rights as set out in the text of the Blue Call to Action.
